 Well, Ruby is done raising her puppies and did such a good job. She had a visit to the vet last week and passed all tests with flying colours. She is very healthy and has recovered very well from pregnancy and nursing puppies. She was such a wonderful mom and raised some gorgeous babies. She and Max love to come  with us wherever we go. They will sneak into the van and sit there looking at me like this.




Max is having the time of his life on the farm. He loves to run free and search out all the interesting smells. He doesn’t mind the rain and has no problem digging in the smelliest manure pile and then stand by the door asking to come in.




This little Missy is hilarious. She was the smallest of the litter which didn’t slow her down in the least. She is a feisty character that just keeps me laughing.

What a fun week it has been. We got to play outside in the grass. That was a bit scary at first. Mom put us in the big kennel outside and Big Red got so curious he got out and went exploring. He wasn’t very brave though because he started squeaking pretty quick and needed to be rescued. We got to play with dad too. He’s ok for a while but then gets a bit grumpy with us. We don’t know why. All we want to do is play. Yes it’s embarrassing. Mom uses a laundry basket to haul us around.                                     Snuggle time                                     Mom and dad.                              I am small but mighty.

Max and Ruby’s puppies, May 1, 2022

Ruby had 5 sweet puppies.                      Two girls and  three boys.                  She did amazing and it went well.                       She is such a good mom.                               Snuggles with mom I came in the room and this was how they were laying.                             Time to change the bed  Still fit between mom’s legs Sibling love                       The blenheim’s are both males  The black and tan is a female One ruby is a male and one ruby is a female. Puppy Month We are very excited to announce that we will be having puppies in approximately two weeks. Ruby is handling pregnancy nicely, eating a lot and sleeping more.  She is thickening up and starting to waddle. Their favourite spot to hang out.  Baby belly starting to show. Pretty Mama. Puppy needs a bath too. Max is just doing Max. He likes to hang out on the couch with us but also just loves the outdoors. Jason, our son has epilepsy and Max has always been a bit unsure of him. Last week Jason had a seizure and Max started to bark. After Jason was done we helped him to the couch. Max jumped right up and snuggled real close right beside Jason. We were so proud of Max.  More belly pictures coming up.
